The company was founded by Dr. Gail Silverstein, a healthcare professional with more than 25 years of experience managing and directing health care programs across both public and private sectors. Her deep understanding of the healthcare system, combined with the personal challenge of finding reliable in-home support for her own father, highlighted a significant gap in available services. That realization became the foundation for Assisting Hands®—a care model designed to offer a more thoughtful, dependable option through services such as In Home Care, 24 Hour Care, Live In Care, and Overnight Care for seniors, individuals with disabilities, and anyone who needs additional support to continue living safely and comfortably at home.
